A bipartisan group asked US President Donald Trump to reverse the agreement to import Russian diesel and warned that the plan announced with Vladimir Putin could violate American law. Two days after that pact, the Republican president announced on October 11 an "energy ceasefire" between Russia and Ukraine that was supported by the United Kingdom and Canada, while Kiev has asked for more information and Moscow has not spoken out.
