Following the meeting between Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu and student leaders, the Minister of Education, Edouard Gefry, released a number of measures, including a partial reform of the university entry system and million-dollar loans for the renovation of educational infrastructure. However, student associations judged the actions of "insufficient" and called for a redemonstration on Saturday and on the general strike on 5 November.
