The Organization of American States (OAS) convened an extraordinary meeting of foreign ministers and signed a resolution to demand that Nicaragua hold free and fair elections, release of the 68 political prisoners, information on the 31 missing persons by the State and restitution of nationality to more than 450 Nicaraguans who have become stateless. The demand comes after President Daniel Ortega announced in July that the country would not hold any more elections. Report by our correspondent, Andrés Suárez Jaramillo.
