Brazil was inclined towards the trend of return to the right that shakes Latin America, after the senator and son of former President Jair Bolsonaro took over almost two points to the left-wing Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva in the first round of the election. Lula has recognized the result as "unexpected" and promises that from now on "a new campaign" begins, but Bolsonaro's margin of manoeuvre to add through alliances and to drive on the right's roots is much greater.
