The United Nations International Organization for Migration (IOM), on Sunday, declared that at least 109 migrants had died and 116 others had been lost following the sinking of a boat off the coast of Djibouti on 8-9 October. In a statement based on survivor ' s testimonies, the organization indicated that the boat, which was less than 350 people, had sailed from Djibouti towards Yemen before the north of the coast of the city of Abuk al-Jibwe, noting that its teams supported local authorities in providing emergency assistance on the ground.
