Representatives of secondary school students, who were received by the Minister of Education and the Minister of Higher Education, called for the continuation of protests with a large crowd on 13 October. According to the Ministry of Education, Friday, 141 secondary schools remain closed in France because of the participation of a part of the students in the protest, less than 4% of the total 3,700 secondary schools in the country. This follows the Government ' s announcement that 3,000 alternative teachers will soon be enrolled in an initial response to one of the protesters ' demands.
