The companies of editors and journalists of some 40 French media, including France 24 and RFI, published on Friday a forum condemning the recent statements of the presidential candidate of the Rassemblement national Marine Le Pen concerning the investigation site Mediapart. They denounce "violent attempts at intimidation" against press freedom, which they consider "particularly disturbing for the right to information to which the population of a democratic country can claim".
