In conjunction with the month of October, breast cancer awareness campaigns are renewed, the most common form of cancer among women in the Arab world. Despite progress in diagnosis and treatment, many cases continue to be detected late due to poor awareness or limited access to early testing. So how does breast cancer look in the area today? What role can awareness-raising campaigns play in raising early detection rates and improving recovery opportunities?
