Armed man takes children hostage in a school in southern Brazil

A man armed with a knife broke into a children's education center in the São Braz district in Curitiba, South Brazil on Friday, October 9. Around 2100 GMT, the individual held several children, teachers and school staff hostage, which led to the mobilization of police teams.
