France is witnessing Tuesday a new day of student mobilization, with tens of thousands of secondary school students preparing to demonstrate in about 30 cities, in the midst of aggravating security procedures involving the deployment of some 2,000 police and gendarmerie in Paris, under a violent protest movement that threatens to reach universities. These invitations were supported by trade unions, after weeks of confrontations, bringing more than 5,000 detainees and 215 injured among students, while Amnesty International called on the authorities to end the " excessive repression " .
