Children in Gaza three years later
Since Saturday, almost three years later, millions of children have returned to the classroom for the first time. Their studies started under collapsed or temporary buildings. For most families, however, it is not possible to buy uniforms, papers and pens. The United Nations Children's Organization said that 98% of Gaza's schools were destroyed or damaged in war. On the other hand, Gaza's education officials reported that about 60,000 students were baptized.
