The Palestinian President postponed the date of the presidential and legislative elections to September 2027.

According to the official Palestinian news agency, the President of the Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, issued a decree to postpone the date of the presidential and legislative elections to September 2027, pursuant to the decision of the Executive Committee of the Liberation Organization.
