Palestinian olives are under fire and siege. The settlers are expanding their attacks in the West Bank.

Palestinian farmers find themselves facing challenges that go beyond the olive pole hardship to face repeated attacks by Israeli settlers and military actions restricting their access to their land. In Beta village south of Nablus, the population states that the Israeli army forced farmers to leave their homes and detained a number of them, at a time when settlers were accused of attempting to seize the olive crop. These incidents are in the midst of the escalation of violence in the West Bank, which is a growing international concern and prompts some States to take action against settlement activities.
