After years of pilgrimage... Venezuela lifts restrictions on news sites and the opposition welcomes with caution.

Venezuela has lifted the ban on certain controlled local news sites for years. This is a step forward from the opposition. Hundreds of websites were blocked in the country under former Venezuelan President Nicholas Maduro, who was arrested by United States forces in January and replaced by Delci Rodríguez.
