National elections in Bosnia under deep divisions between Bosnians, Croats and Serbs

The Bosnian voters cast their votes on Sunday in the national elections for the selection of officials within a complex system of power-sharing between Bosnians (Muslims), Croats (Cholics) and Orthodox Serbs, a system that emerged from the 1995 Peace Agreement. Bosnia is divided into two autonomous and government entities: the Bosnian Serb Republic and the Bosnian Croat Union, which is also divided into 10 cantons each of its own Government, and all are supervised by a central Government and a tripartite presidency.
