The Swiss voted by a large majority against an initiative aimed at tightening the policy of neutrality and preventing the imposition of economic sanctions outside the framework of the United Nations, as a result of maintaining the current approach of Berne, while an initiative to raise food self-sufficiency to 70% over 10 years was also rejected.
