While the profiles of Israel ' s political alliances were moving towards greater clarity as votes continued, the decision to open a security investigation on suspicions of external interference in the elections reshaped the papers. An investigation that may prolong Arab parties and further complicate the negotiations for the formation of the future Government, at a time when observers consider that prolonging the political scene may give Benjamin Netanyahu an additional opportunity to manoeuvre and gain time in the race to form the Government coalition.
