Israeli elections: who's the winner?

Before the final results of the Israeli elections were issued, it was reported that individuals close to the United States President were seeking to exert pressure to form an Israeli unit government, away from Itmar bin Ghafer and Petroleum Smotrich. In Israel, Arab voters were portrayed by newspapers as being on a bus led by Smotrich. The French press wrote that the Arab parties had made historic gains, noting that it was rare that elections would result in so many losers as opposed to that few winners, and that Arabs were the only winners in those elections.
