What is known about the case of the Venezuelan migrant shot by an ICE agent in Texas?
Wilber Rafael Garcés Pérez, 28, was shot during a migration operation in Austin and remains in federal custody. While the Government claims that it entered the United States illegally and had a deportation order, its lawyer claims that it entered legally. The circumstances of the shooting are not yet clear and local authorities are calling for participation in the investigation.
