The authorities are investigating both cases and, so far, no arrests have been reported.
A shooting near Johannesburg resulted in the death of 17 people and left 15 injured on Saturday night, hours before 10 others died in the middle of a gunfire near Cape Town. The Police noted that the first incident could be related to an illegal mining territorial dispute, while the origin of the second could be a commercial rivalry. No arrests have yet taken place for any of the facts.
Hundreds of people went to the streets of South Africa to protest the wave of violence against women in the country.
