Thélyson Obelien's case continues to cause a stir. To such an extent that the Goncourt Academy announced on Friday, September 25 that it removed the novel 'C'était ça ou mourir' ('It was that or die') from its selection for the award. The Canadian-Haitian author is accused of using artificial intelligence, in addition to points of plagiarism for texts published in Canada. His promotional tour has also been suspended.
