the attack on a church: what is known of Jordan's bombing in Syria?
The Jordanian authorities arrested three suspects allegedly related to an attack last week, in which nine people were killed during a funeral procession in an Orthodox church in Jordan. The Jordanian Army subsequently launched attacks on "terrorist organizations" in Syria as a reprisal. These shelling triggered the closure on Monday, 26 October, of the border by the Government of Damascus.
