No ceasefire or reconstruction: three years later, Israel continues to drown a devastated Gaza
Since October 2023, the Israeli invasion has brought Gaza into a daily reality of death, bombing, absolute devastation and a humanitarian catastrophe without an end to sight. Even the first year under the nominal truce of Donald Trump's plan has not been translated into substantial changes: the Israeli attacks, although on a smaller scale, are repeated on a daily basis; humanitarian aid still does not go into the amounts necessary to address the urgency; and reconstruction is today more a desire than a real advance.
