Pedro Sánchez Announces Early Elections in Spain for November 29
The president of the Spanish government, the socialist Pedro Sánchez, announced on Monday the advance of the general elections to November 29. This following the rejection by the Congress of the deputies last Friday of the two decrees on housing in the midst of massive protests by tenants. The elections were initially scheduled for 2027. The polls anticipate a victory of the right-wing People's Party.
