Liberal Party (PL) senator and presidential candidate, Flávio Bolsonaro, thanked "God" and the Brazilian people for their victory in Sunday's elections to President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, against the forecasts. It also welcomed the fact that the PL was the most voted party in Parliament, with more than one third of the Senate seats.
