Guatemala: First arms delivery since the end of the military embargo
For the first time in nearly half a century, American weapons were delivered to Guatemalan soil on Monday, 21 September. The fourteen thousand modern weapons units worth about five million dollars are a sign of a profound change in the relationship between the two countries.
