Lake Chad: a region under the threat of climate change
In Lake Chad province, climate change is altering the living conditions of communities that have been dependent on their waters for generations. Fisheries and agriculture, which are the main sources of livelihood, are facing increasing difficulties due to climate variability, the reduction of catches and the deterioration of agricultural land.
