France: tear gas against high school students and journalists at Le Corbusier d'Aubervilliers high school

France 24 journalist Pauline Godart tells how the situation deteriorated this morning, 2 October, at Le Corbusier High School in Aubervilliers. While students blocked the school, tensions rose, with forced grids and clashes with law enforcement. Police officers used tear gas, without warning according to several witnesses. High school students and journalists on the scene were affected. The situation has since returned to calm. A general assembly is under way to decide on the continuation of the movement within the establishment.
