Suspects of plague in Russia: the blur remains after the suspicious death of a laboratory
The Russian authorities assured on Sunday that the health situation was "stable" in the Irkutsk region. Two days earlier, the death of a laboratory from the Anti-pest Research Institute had triggered rumours about a return of this deadly disease. Several hospitals have been quarantined while the authorities simply refer to "unknown pneumonia".
