In southern Lebanon, children return to classes in schools destroyed by Israeli attacks
In southern Lebanon, students return to school in the middle of the war. The Burj Qalaway primary school was destroyed by an Israeli attack in May 2026, as part of the Israeli offensive against the Lebanese Islamist movement Hezbollah.
