Trump Announces Agreement with Denmark for "Permanent Control" of Greenland
US President Donald Trump announced an agreement with Denmark for "permanent control" of Greenland. Through his social network Truth Social, the president assured that his country will begin to increase the military presence on the Danish island "immediately." He also said that the pact will have no cost to Washington and that it will prevent any U.S. opponent from establishing bases or military presence on the island without its express approval. To date, the Danish Government has not formally confirmed or denied the terms of the agreement. Our correspondent
