Blocks of high schools in France: reasons for mobilization
For the past week, high school students from Île-de-France have been mobilising in front of their schools to denounce overcrowded classrooms, the absence of teachers or too heavy jobs. The movement grew on Monday, with 28 secondary schools temporarily blocked in the Parisian agglomeration, and extended to the rest of France with demonstrations in Marseille, Lille, Lyon, Nice and Grenoble.
