What does the arrest of the founder of the "cockroaches" movement in India mean?
With a strong security device, street courts in several parts of New Delhi and numerous arrests, the Indian police managed to stifle the protest called by the "cockroaches" youth movement (CJP) against a controversial review of electoral lists. Three CJP leaders were arrested, and legislators, lawyers and journalists were also detained. In addition, the authorities cut off the Internet and closed down metro stations and markets. We discussed the subject with Siddhart Chandrashekhar, Spanish teacher, translator, youtuber and journalist.
