French astronaut Sophie Adenot returned to Earth after spending almost eight months at the International Space Station (ERA), a record of uninterrupted orbital stay for a European astronaut. Visibly weakened and excited upon arrival in Germany, he described the mission as an "ultratransformative" experience and will now begin an intensive physical recovery program.
