Days after the three-year Israeli offensive in Gaza, the attacks continue despite the truce of October 2025. Israel will not withdraw until the total disarmament of Hamas, which in turn demands an end to the attacks and the withdrawal of Israeli troops. In parallel, at the 81st UN General Assembly, the President of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmud Abbas, spoke by video conference after being denied the visa for the second consecutive year, and denounced that Israel seeks to end the "existence and life" of the Palestinians.
