COP31: The shortfall in adaptation funding is "happening" (UN)
Funding for adaptation needs to be multiplied tenfold, according to the UN. The United Nations has just published a report a few days before the opening of COP31. His title: "Are we ready? No". The message is explicit and supported by UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres: "The choice is simple: investing in adaptation today or paying the price of the disaster tomorrow," he said in a video posted on the Internet.
