Russia bombs Kiev with missiles and drones hours after new U.S. sanctions. United States.
Missiles and drones hit a building in Kiev, leaving at least 18 wounded during the early morning of September 17. According to the military administration of the Ukrainian capital, there were attacks in eight regions of the country. Russian attacks were also recorded in Odessa and Zaporiyia. In this context, the US Congress approved a new package of sanctions against Russia hours earlier. From the Kremlin they warned that they are attentive to the document.

Peace receives back from Congress to extend the state of emergency in Bolivia for 90 days
The Congress of Bolivia approved the extension of the state of emergency for 90 days, a measure that had been decreed by President Rodrigo Paz. This legal framework restricts the right to protest and allows the mobilization of military personnel to maintain law and order, which is essential to avoid road blocks and to protect the economy, as the Administration insisted. The original decree entered into force on 20 June, after more than 50 days of protests and roadblocks by peasants, indigenous people and other sectors.
