Taiwan: In the kingdom of semiconductors, a strategic industry for AI
This Thursday is the first day of Chinese President Xi Jinping's long-awaited visit to Washington. A visit marked by trade tensions, including the race to develop artificial intelligence. One of the players in the industry is Taiwan, the world leader in semiconductors, found in all our electronic devices, as well as in the processors that drive AI. But Taiwan is also a territory coveted by its great Chinese neighbour.
