In Saint-Louis, a vestige of the slave trade threatens to disappear
In Saint-Louis, Senegal, the traces of a past linked to the transatlantic slave trade are gradually disappearing. The island is best known for its colonial heritage, but historians estimate that tens of thousands of Africans who were enslaved went there before being deported to the Americas.
