US Congress adopts new package of sanctions against Russia

US MPs approved new sanctions against Russia and its allies for their role in the war against Ukraine, a text supported by Donald Trump, which Kiev welcomed on Thursday. It gives the U.S. President the power to impose tariffs of up to 100 per cent on the top five Russian oil and gas importing countries, including China and India.

Trump administration green light for sale of 48 F-35 to Saudi Arabia

The Trump administration approved on Thursday the sale of 48 F-35 stealth fighter aircraft to Saudi Arabia for $24.3 billion. The draft still needs to be considered by Congress, where elected officials are concerned, inter alia, that aircraft technology is leaking to China.
