Trump's policies leave thousands in a migration limbo in Mexico
Between January 2025 and August 2026, the Donald Trump Administration sent 25,427 people to so-called "third countries." Almost 20,000 of them arrived in the Mexican states of Chiapas and Tabasco, located on the border with Guatemala. "Forbidden Stories' travelled to Villahermosa and Palenque to interview those affected by this migration policy.
