WHO is still unaware of what caused the death of a pest laboratory worker in Russia
The World Health Organization reported that the tests carried out on the worker and her contacts were negative for the high-risk pathogens analysed and that there is no evidence of an ongoing transmission. The woman died on 2 October after developing pneumonia and some 200 people were quarantined by Russian authorities.
