Esteban Caballero: "90% of those affected by Ueno Bank in Paraguay are small savers"
On 3 November, the Central Bank of Paraguay decided to intervene Ueno Bank for insufficient capital, and its services were suspended. After the scandal, President Santiago Peña presented his resignation for alleged links with the entity. Almost half of the 6.4 million Paraguayans have an account in Ueno.
