Elections in Brazil: USA United States suspends consular services, in full investigation for alleged "interference"
Donald Trump's administration announced that it suspended the operation of the consulate in Brasilia after pointing out "security reasons," amid complaints from the president's campaign and aspiring for re-election, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva for alleged Washington interference. Meanwhile, the last televised debate between the main presidential candidates - Lula and the ultra-right-wing Flávio Bolsonaro - was cancelled after the refusal of both to participate and in the face of a series of judicial decisions that restricted the meeting.
