A single Indian saves his island from erosion by planting a forest with bare hands
In India, a farmer saves his island from erosion by planting a bare-handed forest alone. Named "Forest Man", Jadav Payeng spent more than 40 years of his life burying trees one by one on his island, threatened by erosion. Today, the forest bears its name and extends over 500 hectares.
