Azerbaijan pardons French Martin Ryan after lifting sanctions against Russian oligarch
Azerbaijan pardoned French prisoner Martin Ryan, according to a presidential decree published on Wednesday. This 38-year-old businessman was sentenced at the end of July on appeal to ten years in prison for "espionage", in a context of tensions between Baku and Paris.
