Cameroon: eight femicides in eight days, associations mobilize
In Cameroon, August was particularly deadly for women: 8 femicides in 8 days, and about 60 recorded since January. In June, the government launched alert lines. But complaints of domestic violence rarely lead to a conviction in the country.
