Assembly begins consideration in committee of the comprehensive law against sexual violence
The proposal for a comprehensive law against gender-based and sexual violence enters into the midst of its parliamentary process on Monday, with the beginning of its consideration by a special commission of the National Assembly. The government hopes that the text will be promulgated before the end of Emmanuel Macron's quinquennium, but the associations fear that the parliamentary shuttle will not succeed.
