United States: Hurricane Isaias weakens after hitting land in Florida
Hurricane Isaias quickly weakened by touching land on Friday night in the U.S. state of Florida, reported the U.S. National Hurricane Centre (NHC). The hurricane was downgraded to Category 1, but the NHC warned against the risk of storm surges, floods and sudden floods.
