Hundreds of thousands in Concord Square in Paris on the afternoon of Saturday to participate in the Holiness of Pope Leon 14 during his official visit to France, in a scene over which youth presence and unprecedented security assurances were overlooked. While the authorities closed the routes to the scene and security forces spread along the route of the visit, believers from different parts of the country came to meet the Pope and to listen to his statement, with hopes that his visit would be appropriate to advocate peace, unity and solidarity in the context of the wars and crises in the world.
